My favourite movie

I´m not a huge fan of movies but one i definitely liked a lot when i was a kid was Treasure planet. 

Its a movie from 2002 produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios, is an adaptation of the adventure novel Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson, it was produced and directed by Ron Clements and John Musker. The soundtrack was composed by James Newton Howard.

The story takes place in the future, a kid named Jim Hawkins is a huge fan of Captain Flint, a treasure hunter. It is said that he hid the spoils of a thousand worlds and can be found on the "Treasure planet". With the help of a holographic map and a crew he tries to get to the planet and hopefuly find the treasure.

One of the thinks i like the most about the movie is the soundtrack, it fits really well with the movie and i really enjoy it. 

I do think that it is an underrated film, like after it came out everyone forgot about it. I think the story, the stages, technology, aliens and architecture makes it a really attractive movie, like Star Wars, it was also nominated to an Oscar so it is indeed a worth it movie.

I don´t think is one of the greatest movies of all time, but i´d definitely recomend anyone to watch it.
